Tyree IHealthE and School of Clinical Medicine presentation on support for Medicine and Engineering collaborations
In June 2023, Tyree IHealthE collaborated with the School of Clinical Medicine to deliver a ‘first-of-its-kind’ presentation at the St Vincent's Healthcare Clinical Campus showcasing highly collaborative and translational projects between clinicians and engineers. The presentation, jointly presented by A/Prof James Otton a cardiologist, and Dr Ian Goon, IHealthE Head of Strategy and Innovation, highlighted the critical roles played by engineers and clinicians in the successful translation of innovative MedTech projects.
It was also an opportunity to introduce IHealthE’s offerings in catalysing and facilitating the translation MedTech solutions to address critical unmet needs. There was strong interest from clinicians who attended in person and online and has sparked several conversations on potential translational projects.
