Safe, Secure, Connected: Exploring the Future of Virtual Care

Morning Tea with IHealthE Virtual Care
Left to right: Prof Sze-Yuan Ooi (Chair), Dr Litsa Morfis, Francis Nicolas, A/Prof Natalie Taylor and Dr Peter Brown

On Tuesday 22nd October, we held the popular Morning Tea with IHealthE | Safe, Secure and Connected Healthcare Everywhere. This was our first hybrid event in the new Integrated Acute Services Building (IASB) and was held as part of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) Virtual Care Awareness Week activities. And it was our biggest yet, with over 100 registrations!

A huge thank you to our brilliant panel for leading such insightful discussions: Prof Sze-Yuan Ooi (Chair), A/Prof Natalie Taylor, Dr Litsa Morfis, Francis Nicolas, and Dr Peter Brown. Together, they explored how virtual care is reshaping healthcare by providing safe, secure, and connected care for patients everywhere. From empowering clinicians and patients to tackling challenges like scaling solutions across communities, the panel shared valuable insights into the future of healthcare delivery.

Thank you to everyone who joined us—whether in person or online. We’re excited to bring you more opportunities to connect. You can watch the full recording of the seesion below.
